ICIAM 2019 Panel Explores Academic and Industrial Careers in Mathematical Sciences

A special panel on mathematical science careers in academia and industry took place at the 9th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics held in July in Valencia, Spain. Panelists discussed the present and future role of mathematicians in academia and industry, and shared insights on enhancing the training of applied mathematicians to ensure their professional success in both sectors.
