European Study Group with Industry (14-18 July at CRM)

This upcoming July 14–18, 2025, the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM) will host a new edition of the European Study Group with Industry — an initiative that brings together academic researchers and industry representatives to work collaboratively on solving real-world industrial challenges using advanced mathematical tools.

The ESGI is a well-established one-week event where groups of researchers tackle specific industrial challenges using methods such as mathematical modeling, optimization, and quantitative analysis. In this edition, participants will address challenges related to autonomous driving, water management, and the energy sector, offering an exceptional opportunity to apply mathematics to pressing technological and societal issues.
